Welcome to Asohon
Association of Orphanages and Homes Operators in Nigeria is born out of the passion, zeal and commitment of founders and executives of Government register Orphanages and Homes to raise the standard of care and protection of all vulnerable children in Nigeria.
It is a fully registered association with the support of the states and federal governments. Members are men and women of integrity who unite strongly against child trafficking, child abuse, child labour and fake orphanages.
The homes and orphanages of this association are visible and on ground actually rehabilitating and reforming abuse, abandoned, orphaned, mentally challenged, physically challenged children and sufferers of incurable diseases. We encourage citizens to visit and see first hand the enormous work of these homes and orphanages.
Membership
All homes and orphanages within the country are encouraged to register online or send their registration forms to our Secretariat.
Or Mission
ASOHON mission is to evolve a united approach to promote and protect the right of vulnerable children in a conducive environment that is accessible and responsive to child welfare, to re-brand orphanage image and to work with State and Federal government to contribute, facilitate and promote a lasting solution to the abandonment and abuse of children.
